The European Adventure Not long after Kitty graduated from high school, she went abroad, lending her particular skills to various U.S. military outposts in Europe in exchange for the opportunity to study at some of the finest universities on the continent. Exactly what took place in Europe is unclear, but she doesn’t talk about it much, and she returned home from her travels battered and worn, and lacking most of her worldly goods. The Hawk Notebook Kitty discovered this mysterious document in the engine compartment of a half-finished plane in her father’s workshop. It contains a newspaper photograph of a strange device, as well as extensive notes in her father’s hand. The Pirate Raid While enjoying a peaceful afternoon out, Kitty and Aaron became entangled in an air pirate raid. While they helped to disrupt the marauders’ activities, they learned very little about the pirates themselves, or their peculiar mission: stealing sheep manure.
