Hey, guys. Got a little bit rear-ended at a stop light on the way home tonight. Everybody’s fine, car’s fine, but I’m a bit shakey and physically and mentally spent. I managed to get through half the lettering for this week’s issue, but the brain is shutting down, so I’m going to post the first page and then put the second up tomorrow night. Sorry for the delay–I’ll try to avoid automotive collisions in the future.

Sorry to hear you got rear ended, hope you recover quickly.
In other things I just found your comic this month (via Project Wonderful on CrowFeathers if I remember correctly) and I am really enjoying it! I love the era and look and feel. Really looking forward to the continuing story.

Thanks, CJ! I’m mostly back up to speed, and page 2 is up for your enjoyment. I don’t think we’ve actually advertised on Crowfeathers yet, but taking a look just now, we probably will in the future. :)

It’s a bit more fantasy than this place, but it’s fun. I wish I could remember, but I read through all the archive before I commented … and so I forgot where I came from, but it was project wonderful … so at least you know that is working for you.
I am really excited about this comic, I awakens all my warm fuzzy feelings that the old Indiana Jones movies or the old buck rodgers. Enough logic that it doesn’t fall apart but plenty of “magic” to make it distinctly unique. Again, great work!

You’ve pretty much pegged my view on logic vs. magic. The first couple chapters seem to be leaning more Indy-ish, but I’ve got plans for some fairly fantastic stuff starting as soon as chapter three. Glad you’re enjoying things!
